Dr. Ashley also has a particular interest in endodontics (root canal), and he is a member of the British Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and American Dental Association.

An intra-oral camera is used routinely, not only for clinical reasons but as a means of patient communication. All treatment is done under magnification.

Dr. Stephen Pretorius became the first dentist to be accepted as a specialist in Periodontics and Oral Medicine by the College of Medicine of South Africa in 1989. He has three degrees in dentistry and is registered as specialist in Periodontics in the United Kingdom. Not only does he see patients of St Peter's Studio Dental Clinic, but is also happy to take referrals from other dentists for periodontal treatment and implants.
